Who are we?
Papayote Travel is a Colombian DMC with 12 years of experience designing and operating trips in Colombia. We work both with international agencies and partners and directly with travelers, developing individual, group, corporate and incentive programs and tailor-made trips.
We have a permanent operation in Medellín, Bogotá and Cartagena. Operational capacity: we combine our own operation in Medellín with a network of trusted local operators and suppliers in other destinations. Our relationship with the territory starts from a combination of local presence and coordination with suppliers and operators in the destinations. We have a permanent operation in Medellín, Bogotá and Cartagena, and we extend our coverage through local partners to develop products in other regions of Colombia.
This allows us to build itineraries in which the territory is not only the place where the trip happens, but part of its content. In our portfolio we find everything from gastronomy, heritage and urban transformation to nature, wellness and encounters with local communities. For example, our published programming includes experiences linked to Indigenous communities and to the ecosystems of Santa Marta, Palomino, Minca and the Sierra Nevada.
