Who are we?

Reserva Natural El Danubio, located in Morelia, Caquetá, is a conservation and nature tourism initiative that integrates protection of the Amazon forest with environmental interpretation activities, adventure tourism and recognition of the territory's rural culture.

Our offering is aimed at travelers interested in getting to know the Amazon through a direct, respectful relationship with nature. We carry out activities such as interpretive hiking, birdwatching, canyoning, scientific and regenerative, tours of water sources and agrotourism experiences, accompanied by local guides and staff.

What sets our offering apart is that tourism takes place within a territory dedicated to conserving ecosystems, water sources, fauna and flora, and is used as a tool for environmental education and for strengthening the local economy. The tours let you get to know places such as Mirador Bodoquero, Moo Buinaima, Cueva de la Boa and Roca del Mico, as well as interpret the natural and cultural values associated with the Amazon foothills of Caquetá.

We also work on restoration processes, participatory biodiversity inventories, environmental education and the involvement of young people and local communities, seeking for tourism to contribute in a concrete way to caring for the territory.

In adventure tourism, the Reserve has been strengthening its safety management by implementing guidelines from NTC-ISO 21101, incorporating risk identification, operational protocols, emergency preparedness, equipment maintenance and the definition of responsibilities for the activities carried out.

That is why our offering is not just about visiting a natural attraction: we want each tour to allow the traveler to understand the Amazon territory, recognize the value of water and forest, interact with rural dynamics and contribute to an economy based on conservation.
