Who are we?

Geotours del Guaviare is a local tour operator born in San José del Guaviare in 2013. We design and operate nature and culture trips in the territory, bringing together lodging, meals, transport, guiding and experiences with communities and local providers.
Our offering is aimed at travelers interested in biodiversity, unconventional landscapes, cultural heritage and close contact with the territory. We operate experiences in places such as the Serranía de La Lindosa, Cerro Azul and its rock paintings, the Raudal del Guayabero, Nuevo Tolima, Puerta de Orión, lagoons, colorful streams and other natural settings whose visits vary according to the season.
Here we are able to join travelers to departure dates 365 days a year, as well as offer private tours or tours tailored to the traveler.
What sets us apart is that we do not sell Guaviare from the outside: we live and work in the destination, we know its seasons, access routes, communities and operational dynamics, and we bring together guides, lodgings, drivers, cooks, communities and other local players directly. This allows us to adapt each trip to the real conditions of the territory and to ensure that a significant part of the value generated by tourism stays in the region.
More than visiting isolated attractions, we want travelers to understand why Guaviare is a singular territory, where Amazonian and Orinoco biodiversity, ancestral rock formations, rock art and communities that are an active part of the tourism experience come together.
