Who are we?

Palenque Tours S.A.S. is a local tourism company based in Medellín. We specialize in creating and carrying out experiences in Medellín, Antioquia and other regions of Colombia. We work with individual travelers, groups, agencies and corporate clients. We adjust the experiences to their interests and needs. We hold the Registro Nacional de Turismo (RNT 33950) and are part of industry organizations such as ANATO and ACOTUR.

Our offering seeks to connect the traveler with the place through cultural, gastronomic, rural, nature, adventure and community-based tourism experiences. In Medellín and Antioquia we run activities related to local culture, food, coffee, the silletero traditions, art, social transformation and communities.

What sets us apart is that we don't just take travelers to tourist sites. We create experiences that help people get to know the territories through their people, their stories, trades, traditions and social processes. We work with local people and see tourism as a tool to generate cultural exchange, strengthen communities and promote practices that are responsible toward the environment. This approach is present in our community-based tourism offering and in our work under environmental and social sustainability criteria.

Our traveler wants to get to know Colombia beyond the usual places. They are international travelers, groups, companies and agencies looking for cultural and nature experiences with local operation. They are also interested in the possibility of personalizing their trip and connecting directly with Medellín, Antioquia and their communities.

We design and operate trips that allow visitors to get to know Colombia through its cultures, communities, flavors, landscapes and stories.
